Therefore, a short drive-in of about 300 km is necessary, during which short, gentle braking should be carried out repeatedly, so that the surfaces of coverings and discs can adapt well to each other. Too intense and brusque braking immediately after changing the brake components could heat the friction material of the pads and \/ or discs too much. In the following we would like to point out different variations:<\/p>\n<p><strong>The simplest:<\/strong> brake fluid with a higher boiling point results in better and more resistant brake pressure (e.g. ATE type 200 &#8211; replaces the well-known blue racing brake fluid).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dsm-car-concept.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/website_2016-001.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-663\" src=\"https:\/\/dsm-car-concept.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/website_2016-001-192x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"192\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>b-br-0016\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As the standard rubber lines age and should be replaced regularly, it is advisable to improve them with <strong>steel flex lines<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dsm-car-concept.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/bremsen_barchetta_stahlflex_001.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>b-br-0015\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The advantages over the standard brake lines (rubber):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>No more aging, since no rubber hose that can become hard and cracked,<\/li>\n<li>due to its design (steel braiding on the outside &#8211; hence the term &#8220;steel flex&#8221;), the brake line can no longer give way first in cross-section when brake pressure is built up,<\/li>\n<li>direct and constant brake pressure and thus clearer dosage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There are also great differences in the braking performance of standard brakes, so we use and recommend Brembo discs: very good response and dosage, even in wet conditions.<\/p>\n<p>So far we have not received any complaints about brake rubbing etc.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, it is important that the appropriate Brembo pads are also fitted so that compatible components are used.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Brembo Standard<\/h2>\n<p><a
